The Smarter 260C is our next evolution in beginners sewing machines. The computerised aspect of it makes sewing and set up so much easier than the other Smarter machines. Some beginners fear computerised machines but really they shouldn't, computer take out all of the frustration and complication and do it all for you.
One touch of a soft press button and your stitch is selected with the perfect optimal stitch length, width and needle position set.

The "i" information button - when pressed it will tell you the best foot to fit to your machine for the selected stitch.
Adjustable Speed - control the speed you want the machine to run at, great for building confidence and gaining ultimate control.
Start/Stop Button - A great tool when sewing very long seams and free motion at a constant speed.
Needle Up/Down button - ensures that when you stop sewing your needle will stop in the fabric or out of the fabric, excellent for those tight corners.
Presser foot detector - If you forget to lower your presser foot this machine will keep you right with an audible alarm and won't let you sew by accident.
Initial set up of this machine is easy peasy lemon squeezy. The instruction manual is very clear with lots of illustrations and straight forward terms that everyone can understand. Treading up to smooth stitch selection and presser foot selection. Everything is made easy by the Smarter 260C sewing machine. It doesn't stop there, you can let your creative juices flow with this machine especially when it comes to free motion, if your new to this concept... it's great and this machine can teach you control. By dropping the feed integrally and restricting the speed to what you like simply press the start/stop and free motion until your hearts content let the machine regulate the speed you won't have to worry about it.
Nothing is compromised, you're right in thinking this machine looks quirky and cute but there is a dark side as well. Inside the machine is engineered to perfection and is fitted with a very strong 70watt motor, this makes sewing even the tougher fabrics a breeze. So not only do you have a beautiful machine that you can control but it also has the ability to put most machine in it's price range and even some of the above to shame with its precision and power.
